Election Prayer Initiative: 40 Days of Day and Night Prayer for Our Nation!

September 28 – November 6, 2012

40 Days of Prayer is a call to fervent prayer for our elections. We are in desperate days as a nation as the spiritual, moral and financial fabric of our nation is disintegrating around us. Believers need to pray as never before. America’s National Prayer Committee and its member organizations are putting out a call to pray 40 days prior to the elections (September 28 – November 6). The website will be live by June 8, so check back again and again. It will be continually under construction as new information is added! There will be links to a variety of ministries and organizations supporting 40 or even 50 days of prayer prior to the elections, a free election prayer guide for adults and children/families, creative ideas to encourage believers to go to the polls, etc. One thing this site will NOT be is political. Here are the three major focal points of our prayers:

• The Elections–asking for the Lord’s intervention.
• A righteous standard to be raised over the nation.
• Revival in the Church.
